Many parents also can't take the pressure...
My friend's son balloted in a school in Sengkang this morning, being called at the last two! When they called for the last three, it was for twin and he felt hopeless. But when they called for her son, he almost fainted ! His wife was waiting outside, couldn't take the pressure inside.
Their last weekend was awful, husband and wife were so tense, blamed each other, grandparents felt guilty ... etc...
Even they finally balloted in, what a dreadful and stress for P1 registration !
It is very wise to assess your endurance and we must believe whatever choice taken is the best choice
Everything happens for good reason :imcool: -
Is 2CS still distance priority?

Hi Sherlly,sherlypoh:
Anyone can advise if I failed again in Phase 2Cs, what can I do later?
i'm PR too, today ballot out from JWSP, really sad......
Trust that everything happens for good reason... I pray for you and all the parents in this forum who are going for the next phases
Try to register for waitlist in that your P2C school (ask the school for this possibility). Don't give up and let you kid in at whatever primary school you can get in Ph 2Cs. I believe there is a possibility to apply for transfer to another school one year after. My friend's son (PR) from a school in Jurong West was transferred to Tao Nan since P4 after selected for GEP.
So, keep optimistic... every kid is special and blessing :grphug:
-
Hi,
Can anyone advise whether this Ananias Centre in AMK is good or not.
Cause next year my son will be going to Teck Ghee Primary School and would like to put him that centre for the after school care.
Thanks
Irene Tan
You should ask parents in the http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4366\">Teck Ghee Parents Networking Group. They might know better.
Chief,
Where should I post for infor on StudentCare @ Rosyth PS.
Thanks -

Balloting results for phase 2C is out. For those disappointed what is your next choice of school? I am one of the disappointed one unable to secure a place in Rulang and I stay just a min walk away from the sch. Anyone else just like me????
Hi, Fazkin
I understand how you feel but take heart, put the phase 2C balloting away and brave yourself up for the registration in Phase 2CS.
Maybe you can take a look at the analysis done up http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/event/2014-p1-registration-phase-2cs\">here
Schools in Jurong East and West that still have vacancies:-
Pioneer Primary - 60
Fuhua Primary - 30
Xingnan - 20
Corporation - 45
Boon Lay Garden - 83
Juying - 184
Bear in mind that distance still play a part in the Phase 2CS registration so please choose wisely
Don't be despair; all is not over yet. Just to share, I was also a \"balloted-out\" parent but that was in Y2008. Time flies! 6 years ago I was also a disappointed parent when I can't get a place in West Grove Primary(CPS) so I move on to register my DD1 with Corporation Primary School. Now my DD1 is already in P6 and will be taking her PSLE soon!
Oh Yes! It was at that juncture I came to know about KiasuParents and got the support from Chief Kiasu and forummers here to register my child with CPS! :salute: :grphug: :thankyou:
Awww thank you!!! -

Do not lose hope. A friend of mine was balloted out of Pei Hwa last year under Phase 2C, then he applied for Bukit Timah Pri and got in under Phase 2C supplementary. Placed his name on the waiting list of PH, and calling the principal every alternative day to ask status, etc (he said very thick-skinned but who cares. If get in will be very good, if ultimately didnt get in, the Principal wont remember him anyway). Went orientation at BTPS, bought text-books and uniforms (including paying to sew DD name on the uniform). Then he got a call from Pei Hwa principal just before Christmas to report to the school on first day of school (note that is through the right route of wait list, else later all parents start knocking at Pei Hwa). Waste all his money but Yippee! So keep faith, the road is bright for all out kids
Even if a different route, the destination is bright
