Linksys Cisco camera or IP camera?

          Any differences? Clueless. Thank you.

I`ve watched a video on Youtube. It`s about baby abuse.

              link:http://youtu.be/xYhYJWCcmSg

My husband and I are thinking of looking for a nanny, since we all have to work at day and no one there to look after my 10-month girl.

If we do need to hire a nanny, should we put on an ip camera like video does? Because I do really worry about my baby`s safty and maybe is good for me, since i can view my baby from my work? Do anyone has experience on this?

              thanks a lot!

When my kids were young, that's what I did. Ended up not being able to concentrate on work, cos too busy getting annoyed ar what i see on camera, or, when reviewing the camera recording late after work, feeling frustrated when the helper did something I didn't think was right. Unfortunately, as a working mom, it is impossible to have a revolving door or maids or nannies because each change of helper brings more stress to family dynamics. At the end, I learnt to pray hard, overlook minor faults, suck it up and chucked the camera away. I can completely understand the dilemma you are in but unless you actually have the option of being able to quit and stay home todo things your own way, sometimes it is better to just give the helper some room to maneuver. You will be able to tell if your girl is doing well when you come back from work by her demeanor. Trust me, helpers know where the cameras are hidden and if they really want to do something they don't want you to know about, it is easy enough for them to move out of range of the cameras. Good luck!

But I am totally new to ip camera area. Do you have any suggestions?

And if i use one, should i tell nanny about that? One of my friend told me that it is illegal to install one if you do not inform nanny. 😓

Thanks for sharing your experience and understanding me!
You are right, we can`t avoid baby abuse if the helper really wants to do something bad. But at least it can leave me some evidence and comfort me, because i can`t quit my job now. 🤷

That’s sooooo psychological distortion…Before you employ a nanny, you should seriously warn about this.
