I won a free introductory session with

The winning was sometime back…
But it sure provided bonding time
with my daughter and we had a
blast at East Coast Park. However,
actually prior to winning it we were
all already bladers - only out of touch
cos it has been sometime. After the
free session we have invested in new
K2’s and Rollerblade skates for ourselves. -

My gals signed up for the Holiday camp with Skateline during the last term's break..and they had so much fun during those 3 days. The coaches were helpful and certainly had their way with the kids. It is amazing that they can skate within few hrs of lessons... and now they are pestering me to learn so that we can skate together..I am afraid I will break my old bones..
We went to their warehouse sales at Paya Lebar last weekend..quite a good buy..they had K2 skates on sales..but sizes might be limited. The helmets were sold out within hours.. -
hey all...
i found a skate school that i sent my kiddos b4... cost just $60 per month! It's called Skate With Us by Singapore Sports Council or something.... and they have classes island wide, near Jurong Point, Bukit Batok or sengkang ....
if you are interested in skate camps for children, you can check out http://www.skate-with-us.com, they have programmes in june 2009 for children.
1) Ice skating Workshop - $50
2) Skate Camp - Rollerblading and some other enrichment activities

Yes, this is an expensive sport. I pay $70 for every 4 lessons at a CC. My kid has learnt for about 9 months now, still have not reached T-stop yet. So far spent maybe around $1000. If your kid really interested in it, buy your own shoes/gear asap. The helmet and protective gear from the instructor are usually oversize for a yound kid.
