verykiasu2010:
the RI DSA math selection test questions are \"out of the world\" type. Yes it does not help in a sense that RI DSA (whichever domain) is looking for EXCEPTIONAL talent. If SMOPS platinum has about 78 of them this year (I counted), then it isn't exceptional by RI standard.
I don't think NUSH offer such good lobang to platinum holders of SMOPS...they don't even offer direct admission to their own organised NMOS top 30 scorers...except if they pass their first DSA test their fees to the camp will be waived...
Heard in one of DSA thread that platinum holder has direct entry to NUSH and camp fee wavied. Is it still true? It seems smops platinum does not help in RI DSA.Zann:
i think the boy with smops platinum will be exempted from the DSA math test if he applies for HCI DSA under phase 1, but he must still go through the other DSA tests
overall the platinum holder has a good chance in HCI

platinum is more fashionable thesedays than gold

Actually top 2% scorers of smops will get platinum, top 5% is gold, next 5 % is silver, and following 10% is bronze… So the more participants there are, the more awardees they have…

Anybody knows when the term 2 result will be out in the parents portal.

You can collect hard copy on the 24th May, if you are going for the PTM. So I suspect the results should be out on the parents portal then. But I cannot be sure. For those parents who are not going, the boys will get their results from the teachers on the 26th, if I am not wrong.
