      hi MeiZi,

Yes, I have the same understanding as yours.

If I am not wrong, the only thing that should be issued by the school during the first few days of school should be the communication book.

I am more inclined towards communicating with the form teacher via email instead. For parents with existing kids at NCPS, is email the common way in which you communicate with your kids' form teachers or it's through the comm book ?

      Thanks.

      Rgds,
      Ming
Hi during the Orientation, the principle had informed that we can communicate with form teachers by using the comm book and message can be get across easier and faster. But you need to tell your child that there are message for the teacher, and the teacher will read it. If not, i dun think the teacher will assess 30 pupils comm book during lesson..
The principle also mentioned that can drop him emails too, he will reply once he assess his emails and he assured us that he assess his remails regularly.

I will miss meeting most of you as I will only be able to be in the school on Tue and Wed. Ming, probably we catch up again.

My boy will be sent to NCPS by his student care centre which my hubby will monitor on the first day, followed by myself on Tue and Wed.

I look forward to all your updates on the school on 04 Jan. It will be exciting ^v^

That's a good suggestion. I guess we will be seeing at least 600+ parents/grandparents/maids around the school on first day.

Yes. I have registered my boy with Polaris as its nearest to NCPS and they assist to bring the kids to their school for their lessons too in the PM session. I did not start him with the holiday programme as I had only registered him recently. However I got confident with him as he is a pretty outgoing boy ^v^

Hi, Do you mean NCPS? You may refer to MOE site at http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/single-session/ πŸ˜„
