My question is whether you will be supportive of your child if he/she seeks your opinion on this. Assuming your child is already adolescent.

Zack, you're right that tattoos are personal. Whether done in a place that is visible to all or hidden. And yes I do remember those tattoos from childhood and you know what? I hated them and refused to ever put it on! Lol so yeah I really don't think temp tattoos are gonna be the a big influence on future views on tattoos. At the international schools where I used to teach, during fairs and open days, we'd have a 'tattoo' counter with temp tattoos and airbrush tattoos alongside the face painting counter. Both are always a huge hit with kids and parents alike! I don't think that ALL the kids will be lining up at tattoo shops to get perm tattoos when they're older the way they were lining up for it in sch!

Actually I do have one... But not because of what i did when I was young. No major recollection of that actually... As what I did when I was young didnt leave a deep impression.

Tattoo... for me was something I have always wanted to try... It was more for art on skin as a canvas... Did mine in a very inconspicuous place that is not easily seen... On one of my \"moons\" to be exact. Friends did ask me if I was mad? Do a tattoo to hide it... To me having a tattoo is a private affair, not doing it to flaunt it... Just part of an experience I wanted to go through.

As for the pain factor, different parts of the body will have different levels of pain and the face is not the best place to start in my opinion. Usually the closer the spot is to bone, the more it'll hurt so brows being separated by barely any flesh to your skull is not high on my 'To Tattoo' list. As for fading, a lot of people get touch-ups every few years though I personally like the weathered look for certain designs. Hmm, I considered the sagging issue hence have not gotten anything on the parts that I know for certain will sag!


I understand about long labours. My first was induced 2x over 2 days cos my contractions were so irregular and I wasn't dilating. I'm just thankful that despite everything I did not end up having a C-sec and managed to deliver him naturally. Thankfully no.2 did not drag so long. In fact he was as impatient at birth as he is now! πŸ™‚

I wanted one that was me and me only, and even if I found one, I didn't know where to put it. I had conservative jobs so it was crucial to not flaunt it. I was also aware that my tattoo may fade/became misshapen as my body changes. Lastly, I was concerned about the pain so when I actually did my eyebrows, that made me decide not to have a tattoo on another part of my body. I'm glad you are proud of yours. πŸ™‚


I did think about having a natural delivery but my exhaustion and long labour changed my mind. I didn't want to end up sick again due to being exhausted so I opted for pain relief again the second time.

(I don't have bushy eyebrows, just sparse, uneven ones. Actually, I never bothered about them until one day, I decided to try getting them plucked. The result made me happy so I stuck to it.)

Yes, the world will be very boring if all of us were the same. πŸ˜„
