Mummy tells the child (a P1) caringly to sit up straight (posture), don’t bend towards the table when writing/drawing/colouring (eye care), etc and these advice falls on deaf ears.

2. Then mummy turns on the angry mode after so many repeated incidences and the child feels upset too as mummy is so nagging.

3. Then mummy says she surrenders since it is his body, not hers. If he does not want to take care of it himself, whatever happens to him is now none of mummy’s concern.

4. Then the child straightens his thoughts and decides to heed those advices (at least for a day).

Does reverse psychology work???
