My 3 yo daughter came to me yesterday night with her pencil and paper.

Me: \"Why you want to know?\"
She: \"Because I want to write it down.\"
Me: \"OK... what do you think it is?\"
She: \"Oh... I know... it's DADDY!\"

Me: Animals that give birth usually takes care of their young.
Student: I know for seahorse it's the male taking care of their young by keeping them in a pouch.
Me: Wow, you are smart to know that. However, it's usually the female and the seahorse is an exception.
Student: Yes, we human is also no exception. My mummy takes care of everything and my daddy is always playing his computer games.

They share very freely. Some can be accurate, some can be the truth as they see/interpret through their innocent eyes or minds.


This 4yr old tried to bite a teacher out of frustration. The teacher was counselling her about her behaviour. Told her she cannot bite others, be they her friends or teachers or whomever. The girl told the teacher 'but my Daddy bites me.' The teacher asked the girl if it was play acting. The girl shrugged. Then she added, 'My Daddy bites my Mummy too! He says it is because he loves her. He calls it his love bites for her!' 😂

Yet another incident. Kid was walking around in his underwear after shower. Teacher chided him and told him it is not right to be walking around in nothing but his underwear. He told the teacher 'But my Daddy say it is ok for men. Girls have neh neh so must cover, boys and men dun have so can. My Daddy also always walk around only in his underwear.' The teacher :faint:

A boy saw another boy peeing while seated on the toilet bowl. That boy, just a todd only, was a bit short to pee standing so teacher helped him onto the toilet bowl to pee. The older boy told the todd, boys cannot pee sitting down. Only girls pee sitting down. You pee sitting down wait your pee pee drop off and you will become a girl. Teacher asked him who told him that, he said papa tell me one. 😂

Oh, the things that we hear from these kids.

This morning, a teacher found a water bottle on counter. Thinking that it belongs to one of the kids, she brought it to the kids and asked “着是谁的水瓶？”


Very quickly one of the student stood up and said “他妈的！” pointing at another kid.

The teacher did a double :yikes: take then realised what the kid was trying to say 😓 when the other kid put up his hand and said “我妈妈的.”

A P3 girl was tasked by her Maths teacher to borrow a metric ruler from the next class. She was too afraid to ask her teacher to repeat as she never heard the word 'metric' before.
