I haven’t been in over a decade but from what I can recall, I think the kids will love the theme park (they have a wet & dry one), extreme park, petting zoo, etc. A huge shopping mall is linked to the theme park, alongside the hotel. Lots of eateries and good shopping to be done in the mall.

Of course if staying for longer, as KL is not to well-equipped with public transportation and taxi drivers aren’t always honest (I grew up in KL), driving up will be the best and less hassle.

So we book with booking.com which has the same package. Funny thing is that the hotel says they run out of the package but booking.com still has it. Stayed at Sunway Pyramid. Good holiday as everything is located in one place - shopping, eating, playing, resting.... The food is good. Felt the quality of food in the restaurants at the Mall is better than in Singapore and cheaper too. The breakfast spread is also quite good.

The rides at the Amusement Park is suitable for children above 1.2m. Be warned that some rides will get you wet. The wildlife park is ok too. Just that the staff there seem more interested in talking among themselves then to the visitors... The rental of the tube floats are optional since it is only used for the lazy river and the wave pools. I find the use of e-wallet very convenient. Would also recommend getting a locker for multi opening. For RM15, it saves us carrying all the stuff around. Get the locker near the bathing facilities near the water park.

As an added bonus, I would recommend a visit to Bread Town in Shah Alam. Located in Section 21 (Shah Alam industrial area), there is a bread museum and a tour of the bread factory. Educational for people who likes bread! We drove there with 2A+3C and it was fun. The kids love the animals and the water park. It wasn’t as dirty and scary as posted, only the wave pool has a bit of sandy feeling and we did not stay there for long. The rest was good. My 7yo DS1 enjoyed the long slide equivalent to the big splash we used to have in SG. And my 5yo and 3yo DS2 and DS3 love the water playground, it was sliding fun. The rides in the amusement park is reasonably well maintained but not as many as disneyland. This theme park is very good for my kids of these age group. We did not buy a lot as the prices there is equivalent to SG unless you are buying local products. Its good to eat there though.
