We do talk about things around the dinner table, but I think for me and my husband, we have very different ways of getting our news.

So here’s how I keep up:

• On IG, I’m subscribed to NYT and Al-Jazeera for international news. I check out other things that come up on my feed, or whatever friends share
• On Spotify, my go-to podcasts are NYT’s The Daily (US-focused but they cover global news sometimes, and they make it very accessible) and the Ezra Klein Show
• For local news, I’m subscribed to Jom. Have to admit that I sometimes rely on friends to keep me informed, and occasionally I check CNA
