I believe parents of pri 5 next year (2024) are aware that raffles student do not accept any pri 5 student.

Unfortunately me and my partner are both working and we lived in pasir ris.

I also have spoken to BT&Tan which they do not provide bus outside of punngol.

Hence I am asking if any parents would like to have a bus service from horizon primary school to pasir ris/tampines? Need at least 10 to activate a route accordingly to Bt&tan.

ranking based on remaining places doesn't mean anything much, and it's volatile and misleading, IMO

Moreover when one travels, it’s not uncommon parents bring back complimentary airline poker cards too. Some families play mahjong during CNY as a form of family bonding. All these nothing wrong if one doesn’t indulge in addictive gambling. Even the govt goes the extra mile to legalise casinos and introduced online 4D betting. Can a pr5 boy not be confused ?


The teacher (and principal) could have confiscated the cards, inform the patent, and used it as a ‘teachable moment’ to inculcate correct values during assembly. The child would have gone home grateful . Instead the school took the easy way out to scar the student, possibly imbuing a feeling of ‘hate’ on the school and the educators.

The cane didn’t land on the butt; it landed way below the butt and sideways. Indicating it was deliberate and forceful. I wonder what was going through in his mind.

Iconic. National Day parades and NS pop parades are held in full view of casinos. I won’t blame the 11 yo child for being confused. And he is being whacked so hard for briniging poker cards ? Who has done more damage? The 11 year old child or the VP of the school ? Yes, school rule is broken, the child has to be counselled if necessary, punished, but this is bordering on abuse. To have such a Long and deep scar, with blue black on both sides, the VP must have use all his strength he could muster and turn his body for added momentum aka golf swing or rotan. It’s out of proportion. Where is your kindness? The vp must be caned so that he knows how pain it is so that he knows how much strength to administer next time , so called, get a taste of your own medicine. Bear in mind, a 11 yo has a much more tender skin than a grown adult .

Is the vp sadistic ? For goodness sake, this boy is only P5! Caning on the thigh having less flesh and so is closer to the nerves, is many times more painful than caning the buttocks. Did he see the deep scar that he caused for the boy’s slight dismeanour? Does he not know the boy could be permanently scarred mentally ?

Aren’t the Teachers teaching the kids to be kind, forgive and help others? Yet, the teacher has to cane the child so hard ? It’s realky crazy! To me , you have lost the moral authority.
