It is the table lamp with filter that is the difference. Before buying the lamp, i mainly switched on the light in the room and mostly i did not notice the area where my children are studying are not that bright until when i bought the lamp. It is only once study over and switched off the lamp, i realised how dark it is even though the whole room is brightly lit with white light. No complaints at all. <br /><br /><br />Frankly, I find no diff between all these lights, be it 3M, Philips, etc... it's the bulb that makes the difference.
