<![CDATA[Place/Ideas to Celebrate Wedding Anniversary?]]>Hi hi hi....


wonder does anyone celebrates wedding aniversary everyyr? I'm moving into my sixth yr exactly...but due to working committments..unable to take off on that particular day to celebrate with my DH eventhough my DH alreay make an effort to off on that day 😢

I guess for our lifestyle is a bit tough :oops: luckily..we will still be having a small celebrations in a later date 😉 going for a movie :celebrate:

Just wonder any good ideas from any of you 😉

That is the family lounge. got to spend $50 and to get 1 or 2 child in with 1 adult. additional adult or kid gt to pay. but i dun tink they allow drop off service.

peek-a-boo at kallang leisure park has a drop off service. indoor playground for kids. but then i nt really assured to do that.

- watch a movie together, just the 2 of u… so u could watch movies of any ratings and not be concerned that ur kid cant watch…

- have a couple spa together, even if that means going to malaysia or thai…

- romantic dinner is common, how about cooking ur own candlelight dinner w/o the kids? u can look for any chalet or hotel that has cooking facilities…

- canoeing / rock climbing / pottery together… doing something that requires both effort to complete… this will reinforce your relationship that u r still working towards the same goal after so many marriage yrs…

- spend quality time at the beach, if u like, rent a space for overnight tent… u can leave the kids with the in-laws for just 1 night…

- fishing and then barbeque, just the 2 of u… being women, we hate it when our dh fishes, but it is really a gd experience once in a while and to eat what u hv harvest is a great experience too…

- spend a day of cycling and trekking at pulau ubin is a gd idea too… rmb, just the 2 of u will do… dun think of getting another couple in… it may not be the same kind of joy together…

We're married 13 years now, and totally run out of ideas... Done romantic and expensive gifts/dinners already previously. And this year, I'm not working, so I don't wanna spend too much $$.


I have been trying to find a nice but simple place for dinner, or a place we can go jalan-jalan, just 2 of us (though i suspect hub's gonna drag the kids along cos he simply can't live w/o them!)

Anyone has any nice and sweet ideas for me?
What's yer budget? One of the restaurants at Vivocity, then can go kai kai at the Sentosa Boardwalk? Modesto's comes to mind.

I mean i love them too but I think there was like 0 personal time together with my hubby... my friends recommended me Peekaboo at Kallang Leisure park area where they had drop off service for kids more than 3 years old . I dropped my boyboy there and went off for a good dinner and movie there at the FilmGarde theatre.

My sister and I prepared their fav foods, lasagna and mac and cheese, and we brought them downstairs to our patio cum poolside table. We had brought drinks, flowers, and candles down as well. They had no idea of anything. Then, at the behest of \"finding my sister's phone\", we all went down together and gave them their surprise dinner.


Maybe you could try that as a gift to them????

Congratulations! Wow! So romantic! I'm sure she must have loved having the lilies delivered to her office. I don't know if I can speak for all women, but while I always tell my hubby not to waste money on flowers, I always get a thrill receiving a bouquet in the office. Not just because the flowers are nice, but because I get to show off to my colleagues!

Actually, we also celebrated our 7th Anniversary this year. Took afternoon off to go pak-tor (lim kopi and chit-chat without the kids interrupting - best!), then had dinner at home with the kids.

No flowers. And I had to choose my own gift.

But at least the gift was something I really wanted ...
