I have taught Science at primary school level and the PSLE papers don't require knowledge of secondary school topics. The PSLE \"trend\" is towards more application-based questions, meaning students need to be able to apply the concepts they have learned to new scenarios. For example, they may show a picture of steamed buns/baos in a styrofoam box and ask why is it that the buns get soggy after a while, and the student is supposed to use what they have learned about condensation of water to answer the question. This is why rote memorisation of facts will not be able to help a child do well in the exam - the child really has to understand the concept in order to apply it to other scenarios.

tessdeomma

Reply to Science Guide Books on Mon, 13 Jan 2020 01:32:03 GMT

Any want Ngee Primary science revision paper please pm me. Sc.) has taught students in both the GEP and mainstream schools. As such, he is able to design challenging questions to help students prepare and score in their PSLE exams.

With 6 sets of examination papers, the book closely simulates PSLE-styled questioning techniques to help students to prepare for the national exams.

Explanations to the answers are also included for self-directed learning. These are especially for students to reinforce their learning or if necessary, to dispel any common misconceptions right before the exam.

Singapore Asia Publishers

Reply to Science Guide Books on Tue, 11 Jun 2019 10:09:22 GMT

Hi,

Anyone use below Assessment before?
