Recently, I have introduced TCM and Tuina to my kid.

Found on a website on TCM Tuina which says
Tuina (Tui Na) dates back to the Shang Dynasty of China, 1700 B.C.E. Oracle bones show that tuina (tui na) massage was used to treat children's diseases and digestive complaints in adults. By 600 C.E. Tuina (tui na) was included in the Imperial Medical College as a separate department. Tuina (tui na) flourished throughout China until the Qing Dynasty where it was suppressed along with other Chinese cultural arts. Following the Communist revolution, Tuina (tui na) was restored along with other traditional medical arts and was included in the creation of the current system of Traditional Medicine Colleges.
I dunno if this is going to work for my kid as this is just the starting. But am prepared to share the result so that some likeminded parents can appreciate and benefit from my sharing.

Reply to TCM and TCM Clinic for kids on Mon, 24 May 2021 07:53:29 GMT

Thanks!! Western medicine will usually take about 2 weeks before she is fully recovered. I brought her to the TCM in Ang Mo Kio Hospital as it was near my house. The lady doctor, Fan, is very patient with kids. The efficacy of the medicine is immediately shown after the 2nd consumption of the powdered medicine and we stopped after the 4th packet as my gal had fully recovered. We still have a balance of 4 packets and I kept them in container https://trackeasy.fun/usps/ https://showbox.tools/ . Around 4 mths later, my gal developed the same symptoms and I gave her the 4 packets and she recovered. Henceforth, it was always to this TCM and no longer taking western med, which can't seem to kill the root of the problem well.

Sylus

Reply to TCM and TCM Clinic for kids on Mon, 11 May 2020 03:10:08 GMT

Certificate In TCM Children Healthcare Therapist (Chinese)

http://www.singaporetcm.edu.sg/en/courses_cert_tcm_CHILDREN.php

flowstate

Reply to TCM and TCM Clinic for kids on Sat, 25 Jan 2020 03:20:33 GMT

Children's health and TCM

https://www.facebook.com/events/740965063011700/

SeongheeKim

Reply to TCM and TCM Clinic for kids on Mon, 15 Jun 2015 02:23:36 GMT

Any good recommendations of tcm for babies with enlarged adenoids? While we were there, I took the opportunity to clarify the nose spa issue with them. At first they were a little “offended” by my enquiry, but after I explained to them about the issue raised by “Rainnbowmagic”, they agreed to clarify the matter, but they requested me to spread the words to the readers of this forum.

So, here I am to share the info:
Nose spa therapy was developed in 2003 by Dr. Tan and partners. Same year they formed Herbal-Basic company in Singapore, and later went into JV with a doctor in China and set up Herbal-Basic Wuhan to manufacture and distribute nose spa device and nose spa herbal liquid in China. They claimed that nose spa products already have 10 years of history in the market, and since then it has treated more than 10,000 patients (mainly in China), with no reported side effects.

To justify their explanation, they showed me the following documents:

1.\tLetter from HSA dated 2003 granting permission for Nose Spa herbal liquid to be manufactured, imported and sold in Singapore.
2.\tClinical Trial report on Nose Spa therapy conducted in Wuhan Hospital in 2003.
3.\tCorporate information on the manufacturer of Nose Spa device and Nose Spa liquid.
4.\tLetter from HSA dated 2010 re-confirming the permission for Nose Spa herbal liquid to be imported and sold in Singapore.
5.\tLaboratory test reports confirming Nose Spa liquid is free of harmful heavy metals, microbial, and alcohol.

Well, I must say that I’m convinced; nevertheless, parents who are still in doubt are advised to approach the clinic directly for further clarification.

Hope the above information is useful to all.
