Fengshui is actually a very lucrative line to be in. But how many parents would encourage/don’t mind your child to pursue a career in this line ?

There are many different schools of study for Feng Shui. The master I consulted uses the Wuxing method. According to him, I have too much wood so must avoid fire and need water. DH on the other hand has too much water, so he needs wood and earth. In checking the Feng Shui for our house, he said man's main area is the living room while woman's is the bedroom. So fengshui stuff placed in the living room will be based on man's ba zi and the room will be based on the woman's.


DH placed a small water feature in his office. The master told him to remove or he will see opportunities reaching his doorstep only to be washed away by the next wave. DH had been gunning for a transfer which was promised him time and again but did not materialise due to this or that reason. He removed the water feature and within that year, he got that transfer. Coincidence or really got to do with that little detail, we cannot say for sure.

I don't quite believe in all these fengshui stuff. DH believes in all these and since he kept complaining that things were not going smoothly for him I gave in and told him to consult this master, whom my aunt and sis have been consulting for years, for our new house. After that, DH was still not happy as he still felt that things were not moving along as smoothly as he would like. He consulted another master. No idea where this guy came from but even before meeting him he already offended me. :nunchuk:


This master obtained my ba zi and DH's ba zi when DH met with him first. DH came back and told me, looking at our ba zi, the master told DH your wife is on the fat side, she has to watch out for high blood pressure. That definitely did not sit well with me. Me? Fat? Ok, almost all women will think that they can be skinnier but FAT? And the only time my blood pressure was high was when I was preggy and had onset of pre-eclamsia, other times, my blood pressure hardly touched the normal 120/80.

When this so called master came to our house and saw me, he still insisted that I will be fat, maybe not at the time that he saw me, but eventually. :mad: :stompfeet: Aiyoh, I had a hard time swallowing what I really wanted to say to him, which was all sorts of vulgarity. That's not the worst of it, he saw my son and say wah this boy will be a boss next time. Very good ren yuan, but he will ke you (meaning me), you must find him a god-mother and he should preferably not address you as mother, then relations between you and him will be ok, if not, it will be bad. I was like, Oi what do you have against me huh?!?!? Then he went around the house and started suggesting this and that. He kept referring only to DH's bazi for everything so DH asked him what about mine, he said woman's bazi not important. The husband is the head of the household, if his fengshui is good everyone will be good. Again that did not sit well with me, for in our marriage, btw DH and I, we agree we are equal partners and I am one egoistic woman. DH knew this consultation was doomed. The last straw was when he suggested to DH to erect an alter in the living room for a guanyin. I cannot tahan already, I told the guy sorry I have heard enough and we would like to stop the consultation and for him to please leave.

That was 6 yrs ago. I have not grown fat, in fact, I have lost even more weight and my blood pressure is still low and if I bump into that idiot fella and he dare say anything about my weight I will :pokeeye:

know abt the mantra also thru a friend and LT's student. plus her webby is in USD. i dnt think i will buy even i strike Toto

yes, DS likes to chant mantra coz it is easy n he likes the music too. it helps to claim my active DS down too.

oh well, when i 1st started chanting the mantra, i only chant Green Tara, every morning and night and concentrate and ask for my application for my new house. then after 1+ month continuous chanting, i got a call fr hdb to let me select the balance flat without ballot. i dunoe is it luck or what but just feel that i must thank god

DS also know how to chant Green Tara, Wisdom Buddha and Medicine Buddha. I always tell him which is for which. we always have no prob with him going to new school, like this yr, he just join childcare and he didnt cry at all. And also that time when he was sick, he told me he chant medicine mantra and he felt better
there is no scientific prove so it's really up to individual to believe

btw, i have a frd, whose dad has kidney failure, he let him listen to medicine budhha whole day, and he only goes to the clinic once a week or twice a week, compare to the last time 3-4 times a week... it didnt cure him but we know he's better and even when overseas for holiday.
