I am staying in the north of singapore and quite sure I am >2km away from most school. In the north, even good sch like Chongfu is > 2km away for me. Doing PV work also would not guarantee me a place for mykid. Any one has good advise for me? What should I do? Move house? Donation? anyone has experience to share?

I have heard that those SC in schools are pretty basic - private SC's should do better in terms of tuition and extra guidance. Some even have holiday programmes and excursions.

Another pretty good one is still Admiralty Primary school - this I hear from word of mouth of parents. Someone mentioned their principal is pretty good (from a good "branded" school previously but maybe due for rotation again). Any comments on this?

Hardworking and experienced principal motivate the teachers and students for better result,
less stress and most important study smart.
My neighbor said Woodgrove primary don’t want, a lot of relief teachers, no enough teacher.
Good things about Woodgrove is lesser homework for his son 🙂

Maybe Evergreen more popular based on the TUR but I will pick the one most convenient from your home.

Si Ling is quite good i heard.

The 3 schools mentioned have new estates nearby so tend to have more new parents. Admiralty has always been a hot school.
