Where can i get hold of the Maths Olympiad past year papers? My gal is starting P4 this year; what level are the papers targeting at? It seems that your kid’s school has a Math Olympiad class that coaches kids who have high ability in Maths. Not sure if my gal’s school has such classes…

I no expert, but:

1) COP for GEP/non are the same regardless of schools.
2) stats usually released by primary school during the dsa briefing
Though briefing is for p6 students/parents, if you're curious, you can always crash the party.
3) Same application process and COP as mainstreamers.
4) I'm also still looking. But just an idea. At least 7 out of my son's class of 14 boys made it to RI.

Those who are successful in DSA and accepted the offer before the PSLE result were out, did you still get the S1 option form?

Another question....
If you were not successful in DSA to eg NUSHS or SST initially , then apply to NUSHS, or get through interview by SST, will you be asked of your final decision, or will they cancel your S1 option automatically?

Students can be successful in more than 1 school and wait list in others. So they've to make a choice of 3 schools and will know the results via the option S1 form, plus 3rd lang, scholarship, HMT etc.

Ermm, it's quite different. The tll teachers know what kinda questions are likely and can suggest. I'm not qualified and :? for that and being kiasu, will wan to give son an edge. But the training does wonders for him. He was initially anxious abt the interview process, but after going thru the school's traing and TLL's, he felt it was a breeze!

PS: I'll prob only train him for 1 qns: Why do you want to come to this school? :lol:

Sorry Zann, just saw yr qn. Learning lab gives the kids a list of possible interview questions. Kids were told to prepare the answers themselves with some suggestions from teachers. If you're looking for model answers, nope it's not given. 😉 They don't want kids to end up with standard answers like rote-learning. Then they'll rehearse in class.Excellent preparation!

You can do this yourself too with your child. Good for self-reflection.
