Hi need advises here..

My twins will be going P1 soon. Should i give up my job as an accountant and be a SAHM or go for other alternatives ie before/after school care Or maid ?? Maybe i should pick up part time job ???

Any good and reliable before/after care near Bt Pajang to recommend?

I've been a SAHM for 6 years. Not bored at all. My kids are two years apart and I have intentionally send them to separate sessions. I prefer to spend 1-to-1 time with each of them, can :snuggles:

I'm a SAHM for almost 12 years since the day I found out I was preggers with my elder boy (difficult pregnancy). Mummy of 2 boys 11yo and 5yo.

SAHM has it's ups and downs. The downs are of course less income and almost absolutely no personal time...LOL..
The ups, you get to see your children grow and be part of their growth. You get to see them getting taller, becoming independent, questioning loads about everything under the sun, the insane amount of food they eat due to growth spurts, their tricks when they get naughty, the money you can 'save' on enrichment (apart from Chinese) and 'subsidise' on food since you can guide them at home and you won't be afraid that your neighbours will think that you are a psychopath (yes, I consider it an up) since you have been yelling at them to study almost every single day... 😉
I love being a SAHM even that means no annual overseas holiday, which, I had only travelled once since the birth of my elder boy compared to before having kids.
So yeah, there are sacrifices to be made, things to think about and worrying about money since it becomes single income. But I don't think I will return back to workforce even if I had an easy pregnancy. Enjoying their birth to where they are now, nothing can trade it.

I used to have a pretty intense job. I decided to stop working as hubby has been doing well at work - in fact he makes more than we used to combined just two years ago. i wanted to spend a bit more time with the kids


DD is taking her PSLE this year. She's my oldest. Just want to be able to support her along the way. Many of my ex-colleagues did the same thing. I knew a lady who took the entire year off for her son's PSLE.

Looking for a bit of support from SAHM who have been through what I am going through and can help! i find myself going a bit crazy sometimes. I think I have been stressing my kids and hubby out more for the past two weeks. I check on everything in my free time and look at all their files and work.

I am still getting used to not looking at my phone every five minutes. 😄

But I do salute the mothers who tough it out without adult interaction and having to mostly have your lives structured around your kids. I tried to do it but felt more stressed at home than at work actually!
