You must see whether the As are high or low, and the same thing for the Bs. In this case, by right there would be 2 low As and the B would have been low. The other A would be in the middle otherwise it would be a high A. I have a senior, who scored 3As and 1B and got into the normal stream instead of the express stream because his As were all low, and his B likewise. The following below would be the possibilities of getting 206, including the one posted above.<br /><br />(1) 1 high A, 2 low As, 1low B<br />(2)3 low As, one high B<br />(3)3 low As, one low B                [ Very unlikely]<br /><br />Hope this helps ( can’t blame me if it doesn’t anyway)</p>

However, I do not know how to add a link too.<br /><br /><br />Any regret I have in raising ‘potatoes’ was not primarily due to school results alone, but a desire that they were more chinese like I am. My DS1 and DS2 now understand that being at home in CL will be a advantageous in their working life. However they still  advise me that being very good in the EL is of paramount importance (they are both law students).</p>

Hence my reluctance to do  appeal for remark.</blockquote></blockquote>Hi there. I think it does not matter unless there's a drastic change in her grades from A to C. When I was in the university, although we can ask for a review for the professors to check whether the marks tallied, there's no remarking allowed. My professors even told me that they haven't seen any student who managed to get their grades changed!<br /><br />Your 2 older children are correct. Just continue to work hard from now on and she will be fine. Same goes to English but like what the rest said, language is quite subjective. But I guess it is too late to do so for te Science papers now?</p>

My 3 boys went to ACSI. In my opinion (I was from the Rafflesian family and know many Raffles boys), ACS cultivates in boys something intangible, outside of the chase of good grades. DS1 and DS2 are now law students, though they would be considered average to above average students there. We are middle class and did not really spend on tuition, and they took MRT to school. They both emphasis that CCA is very a important part of secondary school life.</p>

But her Chinese dropped to A, while the other subjects scored A*, pulling down her total marks to mid 255. These happened to the English marks for some of her friends. I was also comtemplating whether to recheck her marks, but decided to move on in the end, to spare dd any trauma.<br />Just want to encourage everyone to perservere in the long road ahead. Over the years, one of my kids did very well from begining to end, one had to climb mountains just to stay on the road, while another slipped into a crevise before climbing up into bright light. Just be there for them. Language papers are even worse.<br /><br />We can't request to see the 'O' Level or 'A' Level scripts, can we?
