reply a bit late. out of 50 (2 classes) a lot are transferred in via GEP … in 2024 there are also non-GEP transfer into P4 and P5

Not sure. Are they still having meta classes? I thought if you pass the GEP selection test you are already in the meta class. :?

For Nanyang PS, if child is boy there is no affiliation to secondary school after PSLE.
If for GIrls, the affliliation cut off point is limited? Any one can provide any insight?

Yes, for the last 2 years,
it has been balloting for those >2km, as @zac's_mum said.
For (old boys + old girls) under Phase 2A,
from ex Nanyang Primary school,
If your K2 kid is a SC living beyond 2 km,

there is no guarantee that,
kid can come back to NYPS, if balloted out unluckily.
So,
need to prepare a backup school for Phase 2B or 2C, just in case.

If one of the parents is alumni, the child should get in at Phase 2A. If you are within 1km, then you should be quite safe, as last year, the balloting was for those outside of 2km.
