Hi. Can anyone recommend any school located in Boon Lay area?
I need to register my ger next year for primary school. I'm already running late for volunteer work. I've heard that Nan Hua Primary School is a good school, but its in Clementi area. My house is definitely not within the 1-2 km range. Pls help. Thank you.

Anyone know which is better Frontier Primary or Jurong west Primary ?
Frontier Primary seems to rank higher than Jurong West Primary.
However, the PV period closed already and only available for Singaporean citizens due to oversubscription.

Does anyone know if Jurong West Primary is better than Shuqun Primary?
The person in-charged of PV in Shuqun Primary seems unhelpful.

(JWPS) as compared to Frontier Primary(FPS) school.
I am new to this jurong west area and both these schools are walking distance and need you inputs on how the teachers are , co curricular activities are and overall school environment as a whole.

With all due respect, there are not many outstanding primary schools in the west, e.g. the only SAP school in the west is Nan Hua, in a not-very-west location. Thus, as long as a school is somewhat good, you can expect it to be popular.

i already taken up the alumni membership few years back... but now contemplating to move out of jurong so thinking hard about it...

Since you know the dad, ask him: how much of his daughter’s PSLE result was due to the school? How much was due to parental help? How much was due to tutors’ help? How much was due to the child’s own personality and hard work?

If completely due to the school, then you have your answer.

We have some affiliation with Rulang, so good chance we can get in, but I am considering going for Shuqun instead. Both are within 1km, so distance is not really the issue. Mainly I feel Rulang’s culture is very competitive and focused on individual excellence (winning awards, getting all 'A’s), and at shuqun they seem to emphasize more on teamwork and serving the community. Plus their outdoor learning program seems great. But then I am thinking, am I depriving my children of the best teachers and school system? Feeling conflicted…

Im new here, my kid will have to register for P1 next year. Shes 2014 baby so the number of kids are about the same as dragon year babies.

i have a qns, Im within 1km to Rulang, Shuqun, lakeside and Boon Lay primary. I know Rulang possibilities is close to zero so im not going for that. Im thinking to do PV for Shuqun vs Lakeside. Any feedback on these schs?

Also, my hub used to study in Fuhua, but we are more than 2KM, im also not sure how is fuhua compared to Shuqun and Lakeside Primary.

Any reviews, feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I have friends whose kids are in Corporation Primary school. She mentioned she likes Corporation Primary School because the teachers are generally caring and responsible. They been around for 40th years according to their school's website.
