It’s just a typical, cookie cutter neighborhood primary school - not particularly outstanding, but not particularly depressing to study in either. So, yes - a mixed review 😉

If you are based in the eastern side of Punggol, I don’t think you have that many options, even fewer if you are PR. It’s either Edgefield or Greendale, (or Punggol View if you are less than 1km but that will likely see frightening balloting numbers). Flip a coin to help you decide - heads is Edgefield, tails is Greendale.

I applied for Greendale as Edgefield has seats only for SC within 1 km. Hopefully to get through successfully.

Hi everyone, this is my first post in Kiasu Parent. We are SPR and unsuccessful to apply to Oasis in Phase to 2C. Now left with below options in Phase 2Cs:

< 1 km

- Greendale (Vacancy: 189)
- Northshore (Vacancy: 140)

What I should have added is that it’s remaining places (50) is 6 fewer than last year’s 56, Given that there was balloting for SC < 1km last year and that Mee Toh, Oasis and Horizon were balloting for SC < 1km in Phase 2C, your success rate don’t look good.

Both Greendale and Northshore should be ok. Northshore issue isn’t just about being new, it’s location is also fairly inaccessible for now, apart from those who lives on Coney Island… I mean Northshore Dr. Will be very difficult for them to get other Punggol residents to choose the school currently.

Thank you so much for your advise @floppy. Does it mean if lesser people choose Northshore, chance for me as PR is higher in this Phase 2Cs? 🙂 Agree on the location a bit confusion, almost get lost when we try to bike there lol..

I have been registered yesterday, will give a call to the school probably today in the afternoon to check if still there a hope, and will keep pray hard :xedfingers:

You are talking about Phase 2CS. The remaining schools are not going to be high on the popularity scores. Therefore, mixed reviews are pretty much to be expected.

Besides, it is not like you are going to have a lot of options or choices. Any remaining schools that are “somewhat good” or popular are going to be highly competitive. Unless you are SC < 1km, you most probably won’t stand a chance at these schools.

Location. It’s the only school within 1km for a number of projects, especially those in Sumang /Mathilda.

I feel it will affect those schooling students. But there cant be anything done since punggol is in the flight path.
