Still, both of us tend to be confused with phonics. But, it was really fun and DD was laughing over our mistakes. It is really convenient now as we can always refer to utube for the correct pronounciation. I hope I can save time and money by not sending her for han yu pin yin course.

We emphasize to students tricky Pin Yin and specially note them down during PowerPoint Lesson of school Pri 4-6 A/B Chapter Syllabus.


There is a specific lesson in Pri 5 Main Paper lesson dedicated to differentiating and clarifying confusing Han Yu Pin Yin as part of our Full-mark-MCQ Training.

There are rules for the combination of the hypy and once the child grasps the concept, there is no issue. The only main issue is that the students will tend to pronounce the hypy as english alphabets.

以我多年的教学经验，个人认为，小孩学习汉语拼音的黄金时间是在K2。
这时候的孩子英文能力基本上已经能掌握，能够分辨得出英文字母和汉语拼音之间的不同。比方说，他们能分辨得出英语的a 和 韵母的a 有着不同的发音。
若孩子年纪太小就接触汉语拼音，很容易和英文字母混淆，学起来事倍功半。
若等到小一才学，除非吸收能力超强，否则很容易输在起跑点，只能拼命地追上已经熟能生巧的同学，学起来格外吃力。
我有几个学生，由于之前没有掌握好汉语拼音，以致到了小三写作文时，跌跌撞撞，碰到不会写的字时，即使手上有电子词典也无用武之地。

谢谢您的分享！ 😄 我担心的就是是否会跟英文混淆且小一老师教汉语拼音时因为之前已学过而没有兴趣/不专心。不过，若在小一老师教时跟不上而失去信心也不是件好事。

You can choose when you want to watch it. We started out watching the free preview for Pri 1 Lesson 1. It was very entertaining and my dd wanted to watch Pri 1 Lesson 2 but we were prompted to make payment. First 3 months cost $4 something monthly subscription. Thereafter, $8 something per monthly subscription for channel 325.

What I really like is can even pause the programme when dd needs to use the toilet, and can repeat and watch the lesson again. We started watching 3 days ago, and we have finished watching Pri 1 first 4 lessons in the evening.
