These are the T&amp;Cs from the swim school effective from 1 May 2021. <br />Is this an industry practice? <br />Personally, I find it ridiculous!</p>

I’ve never quite understood the need for it. <br /><br /><br />My P4 boy is also not very keen on being in the deep competition pool (at least not in the deepest middle section). But he is water safe and happy in a 1.5m pool and can swim all 4 strokes. That’s sufficient for survival in my opinion. No need to push for more if the kid is not into competitive swimming.</p>

She has joined since K2, coming to 5 years and currently holding Silver swimsafer cert obtained last year. I can say that she can swim but still not proficient in deep water (competition pool) especially her class has been practicing in training pool (1.5m) since June. Before Covid they still get to swim in competition pool.<br /><br /><br />I am not sure when will be their next swimsafer test as I intended to let her stop after getting gold, but her coach does not provide any update. Does it appear senseless for me to go and ask the coach about it during this covid season? Did anyone out there took swimsafer test during this period?<br /><br />I feel like stopping already so she can focus more on others like academic since she's already in upper Pri. Do you think I should do that?
