From what I've heard from local sources, it's less than 1 hour most of the time unless you are arriving between 1pm to 3pm. That's the peak of peak and may be longer than 1 hour, especially if you suay-suay got caught in a slower queue :rotflmao:

As for me, I did the beach scene, stayed at Nusa Dua, went to the popular resorts near town (Kuta) to buy souvenirs in seaside kiosks, toured the temples, and then did a tour of the countryside. Bali is beautiful. I also witnessed a ritual along the way when the locals were burying someone who seemed to be a prominent person in the area. It was like a parade. Indonesia is also famous for its dive spots and volcanoes, if you are into eco-adventure-tourism.

My favorite place in Bali is in Kuta beach area. You can stay at the Hard Rock Hotel which placed in front of the Kuta beach. You only need to walk for 1 minute from the hotel to the beach. You can also go shopping around at the Kuta Square area. which is only 5 minutes walking far or if you want the quite place you can choose Ubud.

Interestingly, Kuta is a place that I probably dislike most in Bali. Overcrowded and way too many touts. There are nicer beaches and cheaper places to shop (for the same stuff) elsewhere.

I'm planning my 1st Bali trip with my family (2 older teens) & would like to gather some info & advice please.
- airline - I checked budget vs full airlines & its like 30-40% cheaper but with uncertainty of delays. I'm wondering if budget airlines timings are more reliable now? Can recommend which flight to Bali in Feb?
- Place to stay - Kuta-The Patra Bali Resort & Villas (for being close to waterbom park mainly), Seminyak - villa Kamboja or Candidasa- Villa Pantai Bali. I would love to stay at a villa that's near the beach if not beachfront. It would be a bonus if you can snorkel right from the beach! Any reviews about these accommodations or better suggestions? As this is our 1st time there, it's preferable to stay somewhere convenient. Also, intend to go for the Haunted valley (keke not haunted at all!) ATV tour to see a bit of the countryside whilst having some adventure rides on ATV. The rest of days enjoy the place, chill, eat & relax! 😄
