Hi need your help on Chinese.

Can someone tell me how to differentiate between the use of 然后 and 才。
example
1) 我先做完功课，才去看电视。
2）我先做完功课，然后去看电视。
3) 我做完了功课，然后去看电视。

Are they all correct? If not, what should be the correct one?
I just realised that I can't find any thread on Chinese，or maybe I am just blind...

They were looking for the students to change the direct speech to indirect speech, i.e. answer being: 文华认为小明去摘红毛丹是不对。从文华看到小明要爬上树后，赶紧拉住他，告诉他没有得到主人的同意，他不可以摘红毛丹”可以看出。

However, if there is no mention of \"害怕\" in the answer, then it doesn't explain why 小明 \"快速地逃走\". The question also didn't ask about 文华's reaction thus \"而文华却留在原地不动\" is redundant (and when included, shows that student did not read the question carefully or understand it completely).

Compre is not as difficult as it may seem. The students just need to understand why certain certain way of answering questions are wrong and also the areas to take note of and points to consider when sourcing for the complete answers. 🙂
It may seem like a case of 'picking on the nitty gritty' or being too fussy but it helps to train the students to think and analysis deeper, as well as inculcate the habit of being precise when expressing one's views and thoughts.

I was her student in primary school and my Chinese improved a lot since I met her. Wasn’t a straight A student before I met her but subsequently achieved A* for Chinese and Distinction for HCL. I developed an interest in Chinese Writing and entered Dunman High School. Thanks to her I managed to found my Forte in languages and took up H2 Translation (Chinese) for A level. Currently awaiting results and wish to continue to offer tuition for primary school students(I was a student tutor for 3 years before I decided to take a break for A levels).

Chinese is not a difficult language to learn and the most important part in to build the confidence in children so that they stay interested in the language and will be capable of doing well in the subject.
