Eg. IF your child score 240 and the cut off point for the following schools are:<br /><br />Eg. only (not actual cut-off pt)<br />1) Anglican High - 243<br />2) Ngee Ann Sec - 240<br />3) Temasek Sec - 237<br /><br />IF we place Anglican High as option one, will we get a chance? Meaning, should one definitely have to place a school with lower/same cut off point as one gets? OR can try for schools that have <u><u>slightly </u></u>higher cut off point? You have a chance, on appeal.  Based on t-score, no chance. She likes dancing, so few choices in mind are new town sec (but COP is 207 sigh!), tanglin sec (median lower than mean, what it means???), kent ridge, clementi woods (not offering chinese dance), hong kah, jurongville…<br /><br />any other available choices?!  Help!</p>

Also, I think distance should be not a consideration factor but the overall enviorment. For banding, let's say if bartley is band 9 for express, it means that the avg kid in the sch will get approx 18 pts for 6 subjects for o level. May apply for jc.  <br /><br />My ds also from chs. So now also applying for schs. In fact submitted already. It's true that the teachers are very supportive.
