So from hyper became hypo? Wondering is it because I did not stop the med for a day prior to the test. I don't recall being told on this but I read it here. My next appointment is another 4 months... wondering if I should stop the medication. I read also that a person can suffer from both hyper and hypo, it will bounce in btw. Medication also can cause one to become hypo from hyper. For me, I suffered from grave disease(glaring eyes) before my thyroid reading became abnormal. My eyes has since recovered, I think it may return but I hope not. From my understanding selenium was to help with thyroid and eyes.</blockquote></blockquote><br />I was first diagnosed to have abnormal thyroid readings when I went for the regular blood test at a GP clinic. The GP wrote a referral letter to NUH. My appointment at NUH was 4 months wait. I did not wait for 4 months, went direct to a private practice endocrinologist recommended by a ksp member.<br /><br />I once went from hyper to hypo.<br /><br />It is important to remember to take the medicine daily at the correct dosage.
