Was rather surprised to know they have such trips for pri school kids.

Necessary, not sure abt that. These are class trips. There's also Melaka trip, Thai trip etc so don't think JB is furthest yet. DDs previous school has Chinese immersion programme and if i recall correctly a Cambodian volunteer project as well. Diff sch, diff budget.

Crime rate in sg will shoot up, since access has been made easy to robbers, just hop onto the mrt, can reach sg. At least for now, crime rate is being confined to within Jb boundary.

Once lost - troublesome & if ic land up in hands of loanshark accidentally, they may create havoc.

For passport & house key-
always strap it inside a pouch, tied to your body and wear a shirt or blouse to cover the tiny pouch - so that no one can see.
Same for $
Put larger amt of $ into the pouch strapped to yr body.
Put small amt of $ into the handbag, so that in the event when yr handbag is snatched, yr loss is capped / minimized (still have $ inside yr pouch. )

When take out big amt of $ -
never do it in public. Eg : never stand in front of money changer to do it. Foolish, bec there could be spies eyeing, targeting victim that exchange large amt of cash.

When crossing road, hug yr handbag tightly to yr body.
There are thieves riding in motor bike ready to snatch handbag, & ride away fast, on the road.
