I really think you should call MOE and clarify about this matter.

Perhaps, Above rules apply to non special need child ?
Example
If a child has special need, it is wrong to do public caning in front of the whole class or whole school. because a special need child think and behave differently from a non-special need child. That is why is called special need.

For a special need child :-
They might not be subjected to above.

Better for Parents with special need child, to attend a secondary school, that is caring, patient conducive environment, and supportive of special need children studying there.

Perhaps find out from moe -
is there a department that handle special need children studying in secondary schools, arrange an appointment to see this person in charge. At the same time, find out from das whether any professional inside know how to guide or teach discipline rules for a special need child.

Previously the master told me will be recorded only in their school, not extend to others. But I never asked whether suspend will be recorded or not. They said guy is cane, girl is suspend, so if cane no record, suspend should not be recorded as well. I had not agreed yet, I told them need to discuss with DAS teacher and my husband and also must understand what my son feeling, which i think that’s most important right now. I will double confirm with them again whether any bad record in MOE. Thanks for your advised.

In the website provided above on acsp, caning will be recorded in MOE school cockpit.

Best to check with MOE if suspension will be recorded in MOE and the consequences of this to your boy’s future.

Asked your son whether does he still want to stay in this sch? If no, maybe you should try transfer him out of the school. Get him those sch with AED trained teacher, approach MP or even MOE to make such request.

They said after cane will get counselor to counsel them, you see now my son case like these, they don’t even know the exam paper that he wrote on honesty is meaningless, and they don’t even know what the latest things of him. You really think they concern?? Did they just follow the paper to just work on?? How to trust…?? I send sms to his teacher asking her to pass me the composition for exam title honesty, very sad that his teacher also don’t know about what he wrote. So sad… all these actually is a bad sign shown my son actually still in restricted by that incident. But who the hell in school cares??? Worst school i ever had as this last round still never see his principle appear… They so busy??

I just came back from meeting, they change the punishment from caning to suspend from school for 5 days. Since school left 3 days only so will extend 2 more days to next year. The master emphasis that if cane only take 10-30 sec, but 5 days suspension and now not enough days will extend to next year. The way they expressed, they actually not really concern on what may happened to my son, they only base on rules and regulations only…To me I am glad that he no need to be cane in front of class. But from these incident I really felt nowadays school only concern on regulation, they felt only rules and regulation then can make things right…Where is all the love, care and concern for the teenage??? Is that only punishment to make one person to learn good?? I felt very sad…I remember when I was young, teachers not like this… I asked them how’s the counselling for my son, they said is confidential between students and counselor, so no feed back means is positive… Haix… How to leave my son in this kind of school.

They already know will meet me today, yet they don’t know things of my son. They don’t know that my son will need to represent school go HK for band performance, so I question them how to get suspend if he need to practice for the performance… and they even asked me how’s my son’s yr end result, isn’t they should show a bit concern on him and keep an eyes on him?..I was damn damn disappointed… Maybe I ask for too much…

Since you have not totally recover from your operation, you should ask your husband to go to school instead. I believe the hospital had given you medical leave, tell the discipline master about your health condition and hopefully he can meet you at a later date when you are fully recover.

I had already told them I am still not ok yet, but they wanted to settle the case. I think because going to yr end, they must settle it...Due to my operation, my hubby already take too much leaves, can't take it again.
They let me choose either tomorrow or Monday to meet them. I think I will make it on Monday, have few more days to rest. Hope by then, I will be better....

Why did the boy send msg to the teacher who betrayed him? Was he really suicidal?

Long story.... Nope my boy nv suisede, but do had tat thinking at tat moment as he felt betray n teacher give up on him.... Tats why I asked not to cane but lighten the punishment, worry he may think wrong way instead of pulling a kid to a bright side but pushing him down to hell...to get kids trust are not easy, to let a kid hate is not simple... But why already let them felt betray n still nv look at serious of the prob....
