I did my colonoscopy in NUH. My last round was in 2020 and doc suggested I re-do in a few years' time bec I didnt clear my bowel properly. I could even see veg and rice inside :oops:

This time I was determined to follow strictly to the instructions on what to eat and what not. My bowel prep was gd and my large intestines were \"spotless\" clean :evil:

A few small polyps were removed and doc said shld be no big issue.

The tele consultation would be in Oct!

No idea on the finalised bill yet.

The visit to City Square Mall was a disappointment as many shops were undergoing reno. Yes, the food court moved to basement and the business was quite gd.

The hotel is nice and comfortable. It is quite of \"funny\" being surrounded by hdb flats and shophouses.

I will be same as you in this month end. Yesterday, went to make the booking at the Grand Pacific Hotel on Victoria Street. I am going for the concert at the Sand Theathre - the best of Kitaro world tour in Singapore 2024. In stead of catching MRT back home after the concert, just booked a hotel room in City Area and enjoy a day as tourist.

By the way, joined the date last week and the dividend received was enough to cover part of the hotel room cost. 😉

City Square Mall is going through a massive renovation and it was super dusty when I last visited.

I got a shock when the food court shifted from the highest level to the basement carpark (probably to make use of otherwise dead space). It felt dark and greasy. Wonder if one gas canister were to blow up, what will happen because this Foodcourt is surrounded by cars parked around it.

You will peddle for a while (go thru tunnels) and then take a train.

We signed up a one day trip to Alpaca World, Ganchon Railbike and Nami Island.
It was my first time seeing and feeding the alpacas 🙂
The 4 seater ride on a bike but runs on a rail track was another interesting activity.
The Nami island is too touristy ...

Instant noodles is part of Korean culture. We went to a convenient store which has many different types of instant noodles being displayed like books in a library and had our dinner there.

Rented hanbok to walk around and watched the Guard Changing at Gyeongbokgung Palace.
It was another experience to try in Korea.

We had Korean Ginseng Chicken soup for lunch. This time we ordered black chicken and a seafood pancake. We enjoyed it bec the soup is richer in taste.

We visited Kimchi Museum in Insa-Dong and tried some pastries in Salt 24 and Onion.

The trip to Lotte World Adventure was quite a waste bec it was very crowded. The waiting time for queues of most of the rides would easily an hour. We tried Carrousel bec it was the shortest queue.
You threw me back to memory lane. I rmbr the ginseng chicken soup! We did the Lotte World & lots of rides until head very giddy. One year we did the solstice in winter at the Gyeongbokgung Palace & took pictures when Guard Changing time comes so we had warriors on both sides of our pics. Back then probably not as crowded.

Plenty of steps/stairs in the subway stations in both Busan and Seoul.

Visited Seoul Forest to see more cherry blossom and tulips 🙂
Took the cable car up to Namsan Tower and visited its Observatory. The cable car ride (return KRW 15000) was nice but the Observatory (KRW 21000) was over-priced.
We ate more fried chicken at the Fried Chicken Street near Myeong-Dong.

Our accommodation is near Namsan Tower and is a typical Korean house with a rooftop meant for bbq or laundry.

We tried the Korean bbq near Seomyeon.
Free flow of thick slabs of pork and cut pork pieces.
Just in kdrama, wrap the cooked meat with lettuce and eat ...
Quite an experience.
Free flow of side dishes and water
Each pax costs KRW 15900.

At Olive Young, there are just too many brands and too many varieties of skincare products.
the buffet is cheap! sounds so delicious . enjoy
