Maybe the informant of the t score should also mention the name and class of the pupil, so that there won't be fake/double entries.(only the administrators have access to this info).

Issue is even if someone in this forum intentionally give false / fake info for T-score and name of student (fake student name), how will Administrators verify ?

Eg :
someone intentionally sabotage : purposely report a high T-score for their school, to make their school look good

Administrators can't possibly call up each school, ask admin \"hi, is there such a P6 student from this class, in your primary school xxx \" ?

Unless ...
The administrator put out both (T-score and name of that P6 pupil and that particular class that student come from), then all the P6 pupils studying in that school come to this forum, verify themselves.
Because who will know whether got this real student or not, or fictitious imaginary student, studying in that particular P6 class and in that particular school ?

Anyway, P6 pupils will naturally be curious to find out for themselves : actually, who is the Top scholar in their midst, their batch ?

Only the P6 students themselves know, since they're P6 classmates, schoolmates, studying in the same school, sat for the same Psle exam. The classmates will know, whether indeed or not, got this real student exists in their P6 class.

Example
If put up fake P6 student's name : pupils from that class will highlight that no such student exists in that P6 class

If put up real student's name but wrong T-score : his classmates or pupil himself, will highlight in this forum.

Or if some one else in that school has a much higher T-score than what is been reported here, then T-score error will be highlighted

I heard that Kuo chuan might have students getting above 270 as the one 268 was from a girl who isn't the top student in the school. There are two more boys who are very good but nobody knows their tscores but very likely is above 270.

I don't know if getting an A* in science is more than getting an A* in chinese, but if so many people getting A* and A in chinese, it will be disadvantaged to not do well in chinese. Is my interpretation correct ? Or should interpretate as, if don't do well in chinese in school (like B), still can easily get an A?

Actually, looking at A* is only one part of the equation. Another part would be the \"standard deviation\". A mark more in Chinese is worth more than a mark in science.

Ultimately, I guess it sort of balance.. So still have to be good in all subjects to score high tscore. 😂 😂 :nosebleed: :torchme: :torchme:

I don't know if getting an A* in science is more than getting an A* in chinese, but if so many people getting A* and A in chinese, it will be disadvantaged to not do well in chinese. Is my interpretation correct ? Or should interpretate as, if don't do well in chinese in school (like B), still can easily get an A?

My interpretation is, if one do well in CL is a norm coz more students are in this pool. But if one do well in Science then is more rewarding coz the pool is rare. If anyone didn't do well in any subject, the overall Tscore will be pulled down.

English
A*-C : 2013 - 97.1%, 2012 - 97.0%, 2011 - 97.7%
A*-A : 2013 - 44.4%, 2013 - 44.7%, 2011 - 44.4%

Maths
A*-C : 2013 - 85.3%, 2012 - 85.3%, 2011 - 84.2%
A*-A : 2013 - 45.3%, 2012 - 44.5%, 2011 - 43.5%

Science
A*-C : 2013 - 90.3%, 2012 - 90.5%, 2011 - 90.5%
A*-A : 2013 - 42.0%, 2012 - 42.3%, 2011 - 43.5%

CL
A*-C : 2013 - 97.1%, 2012 - 97.3%, 2011 - 97.3%
A*-A : 2013 - 77.8%, 2012 - 80.7%, 2011 - 80.6%

ML
A*-C : 2013 - 97.3%, 2012 - 98.0%, 2011 - 97.9%
A*-A : 2013 - 73.6%, 2012 - 74.1%, 2011 - 72.3%

TL
A*-C : 2013 - 97.1%, 2012 - 97.7%, 2011 - 98.3%
A*-A : 2013 - 77.6%, 2012 - 78.3%, 2011 - 77.5%

Looking at the statistics above, CL has the highest A*/A of 77.8% whereas Sci has lowest A*/A of 42%.
