<![CDATA[Andrew Er Learning Hub - Discussion]]>Anyone heard of \"Andrew Er learning hub\"? For those who are not aware, Andrew Er is a well-known author of several maths assessment books which you can get at Popular bookstores. Understand the school was set up last year, using teaching methods specially developed by Andrew Er himself.


The school conducts lessons based on the current school syllabus with an emphasis on helping students to tackle and solve challenging as well as non-routine questions. In short, it helps to prepare our kids for the PSLE ! 😄

The school has two centres now, one at Kovan and the other at Balmoral Plaza. Heard long waiting list to get a weekend time slot.

I will say is not too bad. She scored A* for PSLE. The staff are friendly and very helpful also. I recommend quite a few people there. The only limitation is very lack of parking space there and not very convenient.

Maybe you can also checkout PSLEMath Centre just next door Andrew Er. My DD is with them. She does 2 worksheets per lesson, one for foundation skills and another for problem solving skills.


Is ur kid doing ok? My child was from there and transfered over to andrew er .no regrets

We started with them at Ang Mo Kio and later transferred to Kovan as one of my girl's teachers moved to Kovan. DD is P1 so not much of an issue. But my older girl did pretty ok last year for PSLE. Their content coverage is really good. The concepts they covered is a close match to what my girl's school tested.

Ive never checked out Andrew Er so can't comment.

Thanks[/quote]Andrew er covers topic by topic . I believe the topics covered are following targetting maths . They also cover some out of syllubus math qns . There is revision for topics learnt as new topics are covered.
Reasons for transferring over to andrew er is the other side has good material but the teachers ... go observe for yourself. Stay on after lesson start to observe .

She is now p3.

CM really works for my friend’s dd but not my girl. But ever since my girl swopped to Andrew Er , her marks improved from 78 to 98 which i am rather impressed.
