However, British Council is a school that motivates students to explore the fields of English. Therefore, like any other tuition centre, students need to be able to study English at their own pace and interest in order to see the full results.
I will be going back to British Council for my Secondary 4 year and I will update any aspiring parents on my experience there!

Rating was 9/10.

BC was then an enrichment language centre (similar to Alliance Franchise, Goethe Institute and Jap Cul centre before MOELC came about). Students needed to take placement test and 1-1 interview with the native assessor before enrolment. All native teachers with CELTA/TOEFL/IELTS/ESL teaching qualifications or years of UK teaching experience. Fantastic library (UK daily broadsheets) and audio resource centre (BBC video tapes) accessible to students. Imported EL textbooks and workbooks from Britain. Listening Compre, CW and Compre were pitched at a very high level (I attended the Intermediate one I think).

TLL EL lessons are taught by local teachers.
