No, Mr Lee was not fr Pei Chun.
Surprise news!... I thk my DS will be v surprised to see a new principal when he is back in sch next week... Just heard she was from Dunman.
Received a email from the school introducing the new Principal. In the email, mentioned that Mr Lee left for personal reasons and family commitments.

Mdm Ler was formerly head of Mother tongue department in CHIJ (Toa Payoh) then VP of CHIJ (Toa Payoh). Her last appointment was VP in Duman High School

I dont think the school will know whether the campus will be used till after nomination day.

Anyway, the new time table is out. English 5 May, Maths 10 May and Chinese 11 May.

I think they push back from Maths from Friday to Tuesday just in case campus will be used.
Election on 7 May and is a Public Holiday. Any replacement holiday on Monday 9 May? 9 May is Chinese MA2.

Juz checked out the school website and noted that 9th May is a school holiday but no info. on when the Chinese MA2 would be held then. Anyone have any info?

Just called the General Office. They are still working out the dates so nothing is confirmed as at now.
Some schools are bringing the SA forward. Hope PC will push it back instead of bringing it forward.

If the school is going to be used as a voting centre or counting centre, 6th May the school can only operate till 1230 pm.

      So confusing :?

I thought kids on LS are identified during the beginning of year P1 readiness test.

      AS is for ?
During the first week of Term I, the EL teacher gave them a test (MOE requirement) to determine students that need to go for LS. (Think this is set by MOE)

For AS, it is extra lessons that the teacher determines which child needs to attend.

Chinese teachers in PC are very strict with marking, have to make every stroke very clear, whether it's writing chinese characters or pinyin.

agree, my boy had his ting xie marked wrong because he drew bigger black circle as the full stop!

Some schools even stricter than PC. The t in HYPY must curl up. The q cannot have the tick after the vertical stroke.
