I’m considering getting a dental implant because I’ve had a missing tooth for quite some time. How long does the whole process usually take, from the first appointment until the implant is fully completed?

My dad has been dealing with renal failure and is preparing for dialysis. His doctor mentioned vascular access, but there are so many things for us to consider that I am feeling a little overwhelmed. If anyone has been through this with their parents, could you recommend a good vascular surgeon or clinic that has experience with dialysis access?
