      HI, Can someone please help to solve the following question ;

      There were 3/5 as many adults as children on a bus. At the next stop, 6 adults and 4 children boarded the bus. As a result, there were 3/4 as many adults as children on the bus. How many people were on the bus then ?

      THANKS !

      Dear Suz855,

      Tks for your solution but can you please advise the following :

      2nd if
      R[1u ][35][28][28][35]
      P[1u ]<–2u --------->

      How do you get 2u = 35 + 28 + 28 + 35 ? Sorry but I do not really understand this portion.

      Tks & regards,

      Can someone please help to solve the following question by model drawing method :-

      Q : Reena and Pauline had a sum of money each. If Reena gave Pauline $28, they would have the same amount of money. If Pauline gave Reena $35, she would have 1/3 of what Reena had. How much did Reena have ?

      Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.
