Out of curosity, does students in IP schools (esp HCI) take FCE in Year 1 & 2 and Social Studies in Year 3 and 4 like those on "O" Level track. I hear that there is no FCE in HCI, is this true? Social Studies seemed irrelevant for IP since they skip "O" Level, so more relevant to teach General Paper or Project Work or even bite-size of Knowledge and Inquiry (since it is a H2 subject).

Ana, Sani and Britney were given a box of cookies. Ana took 1/3 of the cookies and another 30 from the box. Sani took 1/2 of the remainder and another 65 from the box. Britney took the remaining 25 cookies. How many cookies were there in the box at first?

Q) There are 50 more carrot cakes tan yam cakes on sale in a café. After selling three times as many carrot cakes as yam cakes, there were 14 more yam cakes than carrot cakes left. How many carrot cakes did the café sell?

Answer is 96 carrot cakes. What I need help is how the model will look like. As you know, students are supposed to use models in answering questions.

Looking for New/Used ABRSM Grade 1 Practical Exam book for 2011 and 2012. Apparently, it is out of stock at bookshops as a new edition is on its way.

For those out there with Empire, do they have a trial? If so, how much and for how long? Any idea where is their kitchen? Their kitchen is in Woodlands and I wonder it’s a good idea to choose them as I stay in Sengkang and prefer delivery around 11am-12pm for lunch.
