      sembgal,

My friend mentioned the protein in the chicken could induce cough and phlegm, she also told me to get organically raised chicken which is more expensive to get and also rare. So I decided to give my kids supplement drink from the company I am currently working for which helps them to build immunity.
Do not give them any cows milk (give them diluted ones if no choice) when they coughs as milk protein also aggravate phlegm too.

For my case I realized whenever my kids has runny nose they tend to cough and have lots of phlegm. Kids swallow mucus and tends to get stuck in throat. So to protect them from runny nose, vitamin C in the supplement drinks. Hope it helps!

chicken is best avoided when the kids r having cough… also to avoid seafood like prawns and avoid citrus fruits. 😃

TheAnswer, she can take pork and fish and beef (if she can take). eat light like porridge or soupy foods. 😃

Keep her in the door and don’t bring her out, the babies are not able to withstand the wind and the cold air.

Yeah, my DS was prescribed that too. The PD said it is 补药。 He had taken it a few rounds but not much help with nasal congestion. My son has sensitive nose and nasal congestion is extremely bad. You may try fluimucil, very good for dissolving abundant mucous and nasal congestion. Most clinic has it, you can also get it at pharmacy. There are adult and kids version. But remember to check for drug allergy first.

He was introduced to fluimucil by Raffles Medical Group, RMG charges are a little more expensive than usual clinics, but compare to PD charges, still cost effective. And I find the drugs more effective.
