      Hi Tri mum

Your gal is so blessed to have such a good and dedicated teacher.

Don't know much about my kid's FT yet since there is no communication from her so far. Haiz! That's why must attend the meeting on 14 to understand her expectations better.

All I know from my kid is that her FT is quite fierce. ๐Ÿ™ Hope my kid will not get into her bad books as she is the vocal and stubborn type.

So far, I am still very happy with the school and the principal. I think for the fact that her emphasis is on the moral /character development of her charges already sets her apart from many of those who just bandy the school's past academic achievements as the main focus. And I was very touched when I saw her helping to regulate the traffic on the 1st day of school. Wow, that's what I call a hands-on/humble principal. Kudos to her.

        Hi to all
        Iam getting dizzy...... :?
my dd is shy. she seldom updates whats happening in the school (last yr)that is ofcause I question her like a police to a criminal. sharmum your teacher sounds like mine. when i read all the earlier posts I feel like :stupid:
:?: how can I help my dd
I felt exactly the same !!!!! I did what you did too cos can't find out what exactly the teacher want them to do and furthermore not easy to reach the Form teacher to verify at all unless i kept calling......

That why snowflake dd is very lucky and see even a small matters on bounce email she will bother to call n verify.....Last year she was 1 Patient form teacher and i heard alot of 100 marks student mostly from there...

There's a parent's teacher meeting coming soon next week, maybe we can help by highlighting this....

Mrs Ong is very dedicated and will update the parents frequently with photos etc . Your gal is indeed blessed to have her as FT. She was my girlโ€™s FT last year, they still missed herโ€ฆ luckily for them , she is their PE teacher this year.

wow! she must really love her students. My kiddo's FT is Mrs SH Tan. Don't know if she is really as fierce as my kid makes her out to be (gotta admit kiddo is quite drama-mama) ๐Ÿ˜„

I only know that i paid $16 for a few pics taken with theme.....Sorry, i am not complaining.

But overall i like the school and pace. Just very frustrated that i am not able to get or verify correct info when needed, at times they'll be punished and given demerit point which shocked me at first when my girl told me she got 2 demerit points....later clarify with FT that this is to help them to remember and not really taken into their track record, phew.....also will be told to stand throughout the whole lesson if did not bring text book or whatever is supposed to bring......

I am thinking of writing a letter to the class teacher. or make an apt to talk to her. hope she is nice n helpful ๐Ÿ™ Thanks Sharmum. On the orientation day they didn't give us time to ask questions or to speak to the class teacher. the class teacher was very busy on that day collecting forms and money. hopefully waiting this time for feedback sec.
