2010 PSLE Discussion

Hi,
Just like to check how are you helping your kids with the revision now that they are back to school ? With the heavy workload from school, supplementary classes, tuition .... are you still able to find time to revise with them ? 1 week has past by and everyday my kid is busy doing homework from school and tuition, hardly have time to revise for other topics .. Just worried if continues like this, then very soon will be PSLE time and still revision not done yet ....

all.in.one:
Get both guide and work books and make use of them effectively. They are not cheap, $17 for guide and $9.50 for workbook, but if it increases the student's chance of getting A*, then it is worth it.You can see the picture of My PAL PSLE Science Guide here:

HI all
i joined a couple of days ago and have a son who will be taking psle this year. qtn:
1) i am thinking of getting top schools’ past year papers for him but not sure if he has the time to do it. this is just the first week but he already has so much homework that he doesn’t have time to do the assignments i gave him.
should i still get the top school’s past year papers for him?
Is it sufficient just to rely on past PSLE papers?
2) for science, i bought the Ultimate Science Guide by EPH recommended by a friend. is that good enough or should i go get the My Pals guide?
3) he is weak in his language. it may be a bit too late to ask this but is there any way to help him in english and MT? i have already sent him for higher chinese class in Berries and oral class in Han language center, for english, really don’t know how to help him…
thks v much -

Worth the investment if your child benefits from it. I like the guide book which is informative and relevant.
