Some years back, I was originally planning to get DS a ruggedized digital camera, like the entry level one from Olympus. But we ended up passing him our old normal compact nikon digital camera.

iPhone has those detachable lenses. Is it good? Anybody had used it before?

6 this year. I am wondering if it is a good idea to just give her one of our old cameras… Despite them not being the latest models, they are still a bit too high tech for her - with all the zoom and features. A bit wasteful…

Hence, thinking if getting a toy one. Like vetch kidizoom.

Definitely a good idea to get your kids to pick up photography. Your kids will learn to be more observant with the surrounding and at the same time, it will help you to understand your child better.

You can know what he sees through the lens 🙂

Wow, that's pretty profound. I never thought of it that way! Thanks.

I share my Panasonic Lumix camera with my kids since it is not very expensive. Once in a while I let them go wild with it and am almost always surprised with the pictures I upload to the computer later.

My oldest often snaps strange parts of buildings we do not notice. Our youngest seems more keen on body parts. At a few dinner gatherings, she snapped quite a number of butts, fingers and toes.
