The letter arrived stating that orientation is on 15 Nov 2013, Friday at 2pm.

I saw the principal’s signature and analysed it.

          Hi!

Can anyone advise if the selected CCA for the gals at P1 level (where they pay some $$ for a year’s of such CCA) are to be continued for an entire year once committed? And if we need to decide at the start of the year, so there’s no joining in the middle of the year? Can the child take more than 1 such CCA?

Reason being I would like my gal to try it out, but thinking of waiting until term 2 when things are more settled before making the decision (and of course, provided that transport is taken care of for such days!)

          Thanks!

I read from Marymount Convent website about Schedule of Activities for Pupils (Semester 1, 2013) and saw that CCA for P1 to P6 started in Term 1 week 3. I also understand that P5 girls will buddy P1 girls for 1st week of school (recess) and P2 girls will buddy P1 girls for 2nd week of school (recess) in Term 1. Hence, CCA officially starts in Term 1 Week 3 for all levels.

Anyone has any idea if the school provide lockers for each girl? Is it compulsory to purchase the school’s black shoes? Thanks.

I know for P3 onwards, my girl has a locker in class. The girls are allow to leave some of the material in school.

As for Black shoes, YES! is a must!!

It is compulsory to wear black shoes. If you are looking at affordable black shoes, you may go to Bata shops to buy black shoes. If you are looking at better quality black shoes, you may consider Adidas or Nike black shoes. My husband's preference will be Nike black shoes. He will pay for them of course! :heresmyfish:

Felt so good to hear another person tell me that Marymount Convent school is a good school. That person who tells me that is an education provider.

                        Sembgal,

Your hubby very atas! Hahaha! I bought Neckermann ones! Asked my gal to choose with shoelaces or the velcro, she chose shoelaces! Now must teach her... hahaha! Marymount is ok with both shoelaces and velcro ones?
