Just transferred my son (P3) this year to Chongfu. I must say so far i am happy with the school so far. Its true the class teacher will update the parents with an update of their children when neccessary via sms.


Just felt that the prices of the canteen food a little pricer than our previous school though.

Students are very very orderly, which was totally missing from his previous school.

can anyone tell me whether the 2 condos Yishun Sapphire and Emerald are < 1km of Chongfu? Street directory and Singapore maps are showing me very different results, thanks

Use can.com.sg. Since their maps are from SLA, they should be the most definitive. If you want the community to help you, you need to supply at least the postal codes.

I think can call the school and check with them…I know Seletaris and Sensoria is within 2km…Most likely they are within 1km.

hi mummyies, no need to be so stressful for P1 registration actually. if u cannot manage to get into a sch u expected, yr child may still have a chance to be transferred at a late stage, as long his/her exam results/ranking are good enough. u may call the sch to check vacancies at P2, P3 or even later. i did so for my child and she was successfully transferred in P3.

Any Hokkien Huay Kwan members here can share if they have known of cases whereby members fail to get recommendation letters from Kuay Kwan for Chong Fu at phase 2B ?

I stay in Yishun Emerald. In general, most of the blocks in Emerald and Sapphire are within 1km. But there are 1 or 2 blocks which are out of 1km. So do note that not all are within 1km loh.


Any parents with kids in Chongfu P1 2009? Feel free to PM me to make friends. My son is in 1 Youthful.

Any parents from Northland Primary School and Chong Fu Primary School? Any comments about these two schools?
I am considering to transfer my boy (P2 currently) one of these school. The school that he is currently studying, not movitating the kids, I do not see the passion of teaching/coaching from the teachers. Everyday is just another day.
