Best to call the school to check whether they still accept PV.

Is there a better way to teach P2 fraction?

my gal can't comprehend the greatest/smallest fraction and frustrated both of us each time I go through with her
            Experienced mommies can share?

Ask your child if she would like to share her favourite cake with more or less friends. So, the less friends she shares the cake with, the bigger the piece of cake she can eat. I hope this helps.

I made play dough cakes and get my kids to imagine sharing with their friends. Can do addition and subtraction of fractions with them (start with same denominator before try with different denominators). Can teach equivalent fractions too.
            Cheaper than buying real cakes!

Also, for those mummies who have a bit of spare time, school library need helpers. Mainly is to help librarian scan books, shelving, label books, etc… The hours spend not counted for PV so only those who purely wants to spend their free time doing something for the school need apply.

Please pm me if interested. I’ll pass the librarian’s number to you. Note that if you ask the GO, they r likely to say help not required!!

                    Hi there,

Are you saying the school's own teacher is complaining about the bad discipline at the upper primary level? why isn't he/she doing something about it internally but instead telling parents/potential parents about it?

                    I find that very strange.

And by saying bad discipline, any specific examples?
Are they bullying lower primary students or peers?

                        Hi tinywings

This sounds like attitude problems towards the teacher/s. Was the issue raised to the discipline master or PIC and even highlighted to the parents during the PTC?

The teacher/s should know how to handle these group lah 🙂

You got me concerned earlier as I was more worried about bullying cases (of lower primary) as next year there will only be single session, the newbies (P1 and 2) will have to adapt to the new change quickly. 🙂
