      Hi,

Does anyone have any idea how are the children being assigned to the various P1 classes?
Not too sure but I think it could be random?

Just opened the letters from Henry Park!

My boys are going to P1I and P1J in 2016.

Hmm... How come they aren't put in the same class? πŸ˜“

Any parents from these classes? πŸ˜„
Oh dear, maybe you can try to request for them to be in the same class?
May be easier for you in terms of homework, activities etc

My daughter is in 1H πŸ™‚

Not too sure over here too! My boy going P1 next year! Excited about the orientation in Nov! Anything to prep???

I received a letter from the school asking us to go buy books, uniform and fill up some student data form. There are 2 dates, I think we will be on 24th Oct Sat. I think there is also a website that you can go and order books. Not too sure, have to read the letter again. Haha so many things to prepare, exciting!

I think most will go down on 24 Oct as it is a Saturday. I will go on the day too.

Just wondering how many sets of uniform to buy? PE attire?

Besides the two dates stated in the letter for form filling and buying of books and uniform, not too sure what to expect for orientation. Heard in some school children are asked to do some form of diagnostic tests during orientation. Wonders if there is such in HPPS?

Perhaps the daddies or mummies of current students can share with us their experience. πŸ˜„

Just wondering how many sets of uniform to buy? PE attire?[/quote]Yea, because the other day is a weekday and have to take leave if parents are working.
                Hopefully won't be too crowded!

About the uniform, I think it is up to you ba, if you have a helper to wash regularly then maybe 2-3 sets are enough? I know of colleagues who get 4-5 set so that can wait until weekend to wash? Hahaha but I think 2-3 is better because they may grow out of it very quickly at this age...

Think 3 sets seem fine. Agree that they grow so fast..
