Yes, you are right on the attire for 1A. I have no idea what AS STAR means.

So far, aside from a newsletter from school, I have received no communication from the form teacher. I wonder if this is only for 1A or the same for other classes.

The school calendar can be viewed on the school website. There is a P1 parents briefing on 29 Jan (Fri) at 5pm.

Need help on the P5 streaming in MS. Is P5 A the top class, followed by P5 B , then C etc...? how the system works as I understand that MS only start to stream students by results in P5 onwards ?

Hi, for this year, the top 3 classes in P5 are 5E, 5F and 5C. Subject based banding is based on P4 results. From the briefing, I understand that the school first ranked the students based on their overall results. Then, the top % (I cannot recall how many percent) were further ranked based on their Chinese results. From here, the first 80 went to 5E and 5F, doing 4S (standard) + HCL, while the remaining went to 5C.
