Where can I find the list of schools in Sengkang/Punggol/Hougang that has Hindi classes in school during Mother tongue hrs?
I checked MOE site but could not find any.
Anyone please help to answer… -

Every school is different. There's no fix number for this. But I think typically there are 30 students in a class.
You can see the number of available seats from the balloting history page at https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/singapore-primary-1-registration-school-balloting-history/.
Or you can straight away go to https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/article/seng-kang/ if you're only interested in schools in Sengkang area.
The number of seats is under the column header \"Places\". If you divide the number by 30, you'll roughly get the number of classes.
By the way, there are 30 students in my son's class and there are 9 classes in total. -

Hello ,

None of the schools have Hindi. You will need to go to specific schools on saturday. The only one i hard of having hindi was Punggol green. But not sure if this year it is there still.Where can I find the list of schools in Sengkang/Punggol/Hougang that has Hindi classes in school during Mother tongue hrs?

Can anyone please help me understand the difference between these 2 statements from MOE website:
1) The school only has places for SC children in this phase. No balloting will be conducted.
2)All SC children are admitted to the school in this phase. Balloting will be conducted for PR children residing within 1km of the school.
Does the first scenario also means that all the SC children have been admitted in the school? -
sg_mummy:
1) The school only has places for SC children in this phase. No balloting will be conducted.
Number of vacancies = 100.
No. of SCs < 1 km + 1-2 km + > 1 km = 100
So, all SCs get in. No balloting for PRs because the school no longer has any more places left.sg_mummy:
No. of vacancies = 1002)All SC children are admitted to the school in this phase. Balloting will be conducted for PR children residing within 1km of the school.
No. of SCs < 1 km + 1-2 km + > 1 km = 99
No. of PRs < 1 km = 2
So, all SCs get in. Balloting will be carried out for 2 PRs staying within 1 km of the school. Only one will be successful.
