Hi, My daughter Born 2013. And we are PR. I’m staying within 1KM of St’Hilda’s. How are the chances of getting in Hilda’s for a PR in P2B?

Balloting for SC less than 1 km, at St Hilda primary, under Phase 2C. Hence, zero chance for PR. You may try other schools instead

For Phase 2B : whether PR got chance or not, u need to refer past years' balloting trend.

usually, for 2B : balloting arise for SC, staying beyond 2km, at St Hilda. Hence, PR zero chance.

I am a Singapore Citizen living in Switzerland. I am a naturalized citizen and hence find the process of P1 registration quite new and complex. We are planning to relocate to Singapore in 2018 and will go through the P1 registration in 2019. As I can choose where to live, I am wondering how we should make this choice. We had planned to live in the Bukit Timah Area as there are a number of good schools. It seems like it would be best to live within a km of a school of choice. Am I correct in assuming that? Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated.

it is Not your (parent) citizenship that matter, but the citizenship of your child, that determine which Phase child can enter

I assume that your child is also a Singapore Citizen.

Living within 1km from the school of choice increases your chance to get in. Please note that for popular schools, living within 1km doesn't guarantee a place.

I also assume that you are not affiliated with any clans or churches, so you won't be eligible for Phase 2B. But if you are a Catholic, you are eligible to register in any Catholic primary school in Phase 2B.

Could you share more about your child (citizenship, gender, choice of school type: same-gender or mixed, etc) so that we can better advise you?

Hi all checking in! My LO is born in 2013 too. Staying at east side. Just went to apply PV today at Red Swastika but I didn’t know that there’s still selection process:( I’m worried my chance is low because am a divorcee and with low qualification. It seems like it’s important on that factor as it’s on the application form. Also I wanna try for Daimai Primary sch PV too but they don’t have that scheme. 😢

Hi all, checking in. My DD born in 2013, we are staying in sengkang east, within 1km from mee toh, rivervale and compassvale. May i know what are the chances to get PV from these schools? Do these schools ballot for PV or via interview? My first choice would be meet toh, followed by rivervale and Compassvale.

                      :thankyou:
